Skype to landline question

Let's say I wanted to call a number whare you have to enter in access pins, dial extentions, etc. I can make the call via skype, but after it is connected, there seems to be no way to hit extentions and pound, etc. Is there any way for skype and the phone system to comunicate together?

yes it can if you can control tab back to where you dialled the number you can hit the numbers. I'm sure you know what star is and pound is shiift 3. You can diall like that. hth

I know that star is shift num 8, but I have no idea what pound is.
